This set from the LööKplus range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard improves a plastic kit of the P-51B/C Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but an aftermarket accessory. It combines a resin Malcolm Hood canopy with a pre-painted instrument panel, steel seat belts and masks for spraying the glazing.
The North American P-51B and P-51C Mustang were early versions of the famous American fighter with a framed canopy. The British-designed bulged Malcolm Hood markedly improved the pilot view and became a popular modification of these machines.
For modelers who want to give their Mustang the characteristic bulged canopy and a faithful cockpit without lengthy painting. Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not the model itself. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
