A resin (3D-printed) detail and diorama set, not an aircraft model. It represents a period Italian device for hanging and loading aircraft bombs under the fuselage or the wings of an aircraft. It serves superbly as an addition to an airfield scene or a diorama, where it brings the activity of the ground personnel to life.
During the Second World War bombs were hung under aircraft with the help of special trolleys and lifting mechanisms that made handling heavy ordnance easier. The Italian Air Force (the Regia Aeronautica) used its own equipment of this kind at its field and permanent bases.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, cut them off the print supports and clean them up with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the metal parts with primer and in steel or dark shades, and suggest wear and rust with pigments and washes.
The set contains only the resin parts of the mechanism. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
