The KV-1 is a Soviet heavy tank of the start of the Second World War, famous for its heavy armor, which for a long time anti-tank guns of the usual calibers could do nothing about. It carried a 76.2 mm gun in a welded turret and used torsion bars for its suspension. A number of machines fell into German hands and were taken into service; for equipment captured in this way the German side kept a separate numerical designation and a letter in brackets that referred to the country of origin. That is where the form Pz.Kpfw. KV-I 753(r) given in the name of the item comes from.
A set of accessories for the model of this tank in 1:48 scale, prepared with the Tamiya kit in mind, as the name states. The extent of the set, that is, which parts it replaces and which places on the model it completes, is given in the manufacturer's instructions; check against them which release of the kit it concerns.
The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for polystyrene does not hold on them; use super glue and wash and degrease the joints beforehand. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down carefully, so that you do not touch the shape. Dry-fit the position of every part and level the area on the model as needed. Apply a thin base coat before painting, or the shade will come out differently on a material other than plastic. The specific sequence and order of work is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The tank kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
