This set from the maker Reskit contains four R-550 Magic-2 guided missiles in 1:48 scale. It is a resin (3D-printed) detail accessory for models of fighter aircraft, not a stand-alone model. The package usually also holds racks and a decal sheet. Working with resin is meant for more experienced modelers.
The R-550 Magic is a French short-range infrared-homing air-to-air missile. The Magic-2 version brought an improved seeker head. The missile was standard armament on a number of French fighters, among them the types of the Mirage family and the carrier-based Super Etendard, and it was exported to many countries.
Wash the parts, cut off the print supports and protect your airways when sanding. Glue the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Prime the missiles and paint them with an airbrush; bring out the seeker head and the fins. The set gives the model faithful air-to-air armament.
This is a resin detail accessory for another model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
