A resin replacement set of landing gear wheels with a more correct shape and fine relief for models of the British First World War S.E.5a fighter biplane in 1:48 scale. It replaces the standard plastic wheels with more faithful castings.
Wheels with tensioned spokes covered by fabric are characteristic of the fighters of the period and tend to be simplified on standard parts. The resin castings capture a more correct profile and detail on the tire and the hub alike.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend painting the covered hubs in linen and doped shades, the tires a flat gray, and weathering them lightly; fine washes will bring out the transitions.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
