A resin detail set, not an airplane model. This resin set from Aires in 1:48 scale brings the SJU-8/A ejection seat as it was fitted in the late machines of the American LTV A-7E Corsair II carrier attack aircraft. It replaces the simplified seat from the box with a faithful replica full of detail. The set is intended for experienced modelers; the base kit has to be bought separately.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was an American single-seat subsonic carrier attack aircraft deployed from the second half of the 1960s. The late A-7E versions used the SJU-8/A ejection seat with its distinctive headrest, harness and firing handles, which the resin casting captures far more accurately than plastic.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
