A resin Spitfire Mk. XIV propeller with a jig in 1:48 scale from Quickboost. A detail accessory, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin propeller for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XIV fighter in 1:48 scale, supplied with an assembly and painting jig. It is a detail accessory to replace the propeller from the kit, not a model of the aircraft. The jig makes it easier to seat the blades accurately at the correct angle and to paint them evenly.
The Spitfire Mk. XIV was a potent version of the legendary British fighter of the Second World War, powered by the Rolls-Royce Griffon V12 engine. The stronger engine called for a multi-blade propeller of greater diameter, which is one of its recognition marks.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue and separate them from the casting blocks. Set the blades into the supplied jig for the correct angles, then bond them with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a resin accessory with a jig, not a complete model. The kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
