Quickboost Su-11 Fishpot landing lights 1:48 is a resin set of landing lights for refining a model of the Soviet fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from Aires, released under the Quickboost brand, brings replacement landing lights for a model of the Soviet Sukhoi Su-11 fighter (reporting name Fishpot) in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but a small refining accessory. The finely cast parts replace the coarser plastic rendering and give the model a realistic look.
The Sukhoi Su-11 was a Soviet interceptor fighter of the 1960s, derived from the Su-9 type. It served to defend the airspace and carried air-to-air guided missiles. Landing lights are among the small but visible details that bring a model to life.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces with breathing protection. The landing lights can be backed with silver paint and flowed over with clear lacquer for a glass effect. Use cyanoacrylate for gluing.
This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a kit on its own. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
