1:48 Su-27 Flanker B EXPERT kabuki masks

New Ware 1:48 Su-27 Flanker B EXPERT kabuki masks

The most extensive kabuki tape masking set from the Czech manufacturer New Ware, intended for models of the Russian Sukhoi Su-27 fighter (code designation Flanker-B) in 1:48 scale. The EXPERT level covers the canopy including its seals and the inner masks, further clear parts and lights, surface panels and camouflage details.

The real subject

The Su-27 is a twin-engine heavy fighter built to win air superiority. It stands out with its long range, its agility and its distinctive aerodynamic layout with a blended fuselage and wing. It became the basis of a whole extensive family of aircraft.

Use

• Degrease the glazing and the surfaces to be masked.
• Move the masks with tweezers and press them carefully into the frames and against the panel edges.
• The inner masks give a clean canopy frame when seen from either side.
• Use the surface masks for sharp transitions between the camouflage fields.

Who the set is for

• More experienced modelers who want the cleanest possible framing and camouflage.
• Builders for whom a basic mask covering only the canopy and the wheels is not enough.

This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a standalone model. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
