The set holds four 3D printed resin R-27ET guided missiles in 1:48 scale. It is an armament accessory that replaces the simplified kit missiles with a faithful copy with fine control surfaces. It is not a kit of an aircraft.
The R-27ET (AA-10 Alamo-D in NATO code) is a Soviet and Russian air-to-air guided missile with infrared (passive heat-seeking) guidance and an increased range. It complemented the radar-guided versions of the R-27 family on fighters of Soviet and Russian design.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, separate them from the print supports and clean them up with your breathing protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the missiles uniformly; set the forward seeker head, the fins and the markings apart, and a fine wash will bring out the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
