Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely cut self-adhesive masking set in Japanese paper tape (kabuki) for a plastic model of the Soviet Su-7 jet attack aircraft in the BKL or BMK version in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer New Ware. It is not a model or a paint but a set of masks for spraying the glazing and the detail cleanly. The BASIC level holds masks for the cockpit glazing from the outside, for the wheels and for other clear parts such as the position lights and the radome.
The Su-7 was a Soviet single-seat jet attack aircraft with a swept wing that formed the basis of the whole later family of Sukhoi types. It was notable for its high speed and robust construction, but also for heavy fuel consumption and demanding runway length. The BKL version was adapted for operation from unpaved strips, and the export BMK served with foreign users. In the NATO code system the type carried the name Fitter.
The masks are cut from a tape that conforms to the curve of the canopy and leaves no sticky traces when lifted. Degrease and dry the surface before applying them, move the parts with tweezers and press them down against the edges of the frames. Cover the remaining area of the glazing with scraps of tape or with liquid mask. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and peel the masks off before the coat has dried completely, so that the edges stay sharp.
This is a self-adhesive masking set, not a model or paints. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
