This set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale contains the complete technical stencils, that is, the service, operational and warning legends for models of the Su-27 fighter. It is not color schemes or roundels but fine stencil legends that give the model a realistic, well-filled surface. The set is made by the Czech manufacturer Eduard.

What the set is for

The technical stencils cover the airframe with maintenance and safety legends and with markings for filler points, access panels and other service locations. It is exactly these details that set a carefully finished model apart from a basic one, and they make a fitting companion to the decals for a particular machine.

Use

• Lay the decals onto a smooth gloss varnish so that no silvering appears
• Use softeners so that they settle into the engraved lines and onto curved surfaces
• Work with plenty of water and fine tweezers or a brush
• Once dry, go over the area with a protective varnish
