A resin detail part in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Aires, the Quickboost range. This is not an airplane kit but an accessory that replaces the plastic airbrake with a more accurate resin part with finer detail. The part is meant to be built into the matching plastic model.
The North American T-28 Trojan was an American two-seat trainer from the turn of the 1940s and 1950s with a radial engine. It served to train pilots of the US Air Force and the navy, and the later versions were adapted for light combat duties as well. The airbrake helped to control the speed on approach and in the descent.
First wash the mold release residue off the part, carefully cut off the casting block and bond it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Try the fit dry before gluing and adjust the surrounding plastic if needed. Spray the surface to match the rest of the model so that the part blends into the overall finish.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
