1:48 UH-1C - Small version is the smaller variant of the Quinta Studio set of three-dimensional colored decals for the interior of the UH-1C helicopter in 1:48 scale. Target kit: Hobby Boss.

The interior details are printed three-dimensionally and in color on decal paper and are stuck straight onto the parts of the kit. Instruments, panels and upholstery thus take on a raised look without having to be painted with a brush. This is the smaller variant of the set, marked in the name as the Small version; a full version of the same type is made as well, fuller in extent. The smaller variant is a simpler entry into the technique of three-dimensional interiors, and it suits when you want to improve chiefly what is most visible.
The base has to be smooth, degreased and dry; spray it over with a dark base shade and draw gloss varnish over it, because the feature has no adhesive layer of its own and will not hold on a matte surface. Cut the feature out as close to the print as possible, dip it for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until it starts to slide freely over the paper. Carry it onto the part whole, line it up and press it down with a soft cotton bud, so that no water stays under it. The film is thicker than with ordinary decals, so it stands more handling, but it gets into sharp corners less readily. Use neither softener nor setting solution; their chemistry attacks the printed resin and ruins the feature. Let the interior dry through thoroughly before the fuselage is closed up.

The package holds decals only. The model, paints and glue are not part of it.
