About product

Westland Wessex UH.5, a window masking set (1:48, DN Models)

A self-adhesive masking set from the Bulgarian manufacturer DN Models for a model of the British Westland Wessex UH.5 multirole helicopter in 1:48 scale. The masks serve to frame the extensive glazing of the cabin and the windows during spraying; you get sharp, straight edges to the frames without laborious cutting by hand. It is not a kit and not an accessory part, but an aid for painting.

Use

  • You stick the masks onto the windows and the glazing, spray the color of the frames over them and take them off once it has dried.
  • The thin flexible material follows curved surfaces and peels off gently.
  • If taken off carefully, the masks can in some cases be used again.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building the Wessex UH.5 in 1:48 with its many windows.
  • Helicopter builders looking to save time against masking by hand.
  • Beginners and the advanced alike.

Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
