About product

A6M Zero seat - early version 1:48 (Art Scale)

This is a 3D-printed resin detail set, not a model of an aircraft. It replaces the pilot's seat in the cockpit of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter with a more faithful early form without the hand crank of the starter. Even in 1:48 scale the 3D print offers fine detail beyond what injection-molded plastic can do.

What the set contains

A 3D-printed seat with pressed details and detail of the frame. The part is small and thin-walled, carried on print supports.

Usage tips

  • Separate the seat from the supports carefully and clean it up.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Paint it and add the belts before gluing it into the cockpit.
  • Work with a magnifier and fine tools.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of A6M Zero models in 1:48 scale.
  • Anyone interested in a faithful cockpit and in superdetailing.
  • Modelers used to working with resin and 3D printing.

This is an add-on set. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
