A 15 cm motif with the outline of the trainer variant Do 335 A-12 in a dark rendition. It is prepared for light surfaces, where the drawing separates readably from the background.
Moving onto an aircraft with a pusher propeller, a long landing gear and unusual behavior on the takeoff run was no matter of course for a pilot. A school version was therefore created with a second seat for an instructor, set higher behind the pupil's cockpit so that he could see forward over his head. The doubled and clearly stepped canopy is the detail by which the two-seat variant can be told even from the bare outline, and that is the motif captured here. Very few examples of this version were built, which makes it all the more interesting for collectors and for modelers looking for something other than the usual fighters.
Choose a smooth place with no seams and no edges. Wipe the surface with spirit, lay the motif on dry and tape it along one side, which will serve as a hinge. Then peel the backing layer away, fold it down and press it gradually from the hinge with a soft card or a squeegee, so that the air has time to be pushed out.
The brand offers the light rendition of the same outline as a separate item, so a choice can be made according to the color of the surface.
