The small-scale variant of the sheet with national insignia and numbers of Hungarian machines from the years 1950 to 1990.

In 1:72 scale the star on the fuselage measures only a few millimeters and the tactical number even less. All the more depends on the quality of the printing: blurred edges or too thick a carrier film show up immediately over such a small area, and not even the best painting will save it.
The sheet covers the time from the arrival of Soviet-designed equipment in Hungarian service up to 1990. It therefore takes in the generations of machines that are most often built in a small scale, because it is precisely 1:72 that offers the widest choice of kits of MiGs, jet trainers and helicopters.
Anyone who builds more than one Hungarian machine runs into the fact that each box brings markings for one particular example. A set of numerals allows any marking the modeler has tracked down to be put together, and thereby opens up subjects for which no kit manufacturer has prepared decals.
It is recommended to work with a sharp scalpel and to cut close to the outline, so that no glossy border is left on the model. Smaller elements are practical to transfer with a damp brush, because tweezers easily leave a mark on them.
