An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish main battle tank PT-91 in 1:35 scale from Amusing Hobby. The detailed model contains photo-etched parts and faithfully captures the characteristic features of this version – the panels of reactive armor, the fenders and the new sighting equipment.
The PT-91, known as the Twardy, meaning hard, is the Polish upgrade of the T-72M1 tank, which was built under license in Poland for a long time. Compared with the original type it received reactive armor, an upgraded fire control system, a new night sight and a more powerful engine. The first PT-91s entered service with the Polish army in 1995 and they form the armored backbone of the Polish land forces.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks separately before fitting them. Lay down a primer and spray with an airbrush; you can manage the Polish three-color camouflage with masking or freehand spraying. Bring out the reactive armor and the detail with washes and a dry brush, and dust pigments will add weathering to the running gear and the lower hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
