A precisely cast resin part that replaces the engine exhaust nozzle cover on the model of the fighter MiG-21 in the MF and SMT versions, in 1:48 scale. This is not an aircraft model, but a detail accessory with correct geometry and finely rendered nozzle petals. Intended for MiG-21MF/SMT models from the Eduard kit.
The MiG-21 was a Soviet single-seat supersonic fighter, one of the most widely produced jet fighters in history. The MF and SMT versions were among its later variants with a more powerful engine; the characteristic exhaust nozzle is a highly visible element on a model.
Wash the part to remove mold release agent, separate it from the casting block and clean it up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend spraying the inside of the nozzle with metallic shades and bringing it out with a wash for an accurate burnt-metal look.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
