Art Scale 1:32 UV cabin lights, Japanese aircraft of the Second World War (12 pcs) is a 3D-printed resin detail set of small cockpit lighting elements.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin detail set in 1:32 scale from Art Scale. The package contains twelve small parts representing the UV (ultraviolet) cabin lamps that were used in the cockpits of some Japanese aircraft of the Second World War to light the instrument panel. It is a fine accessory that sharpens an interior, not a kit of the aircraft.
Ultraviolet lighting of the instrument panel allowed pilots to read the values in the dark without white light dazzling them. These small lamps were among the characteristic elements of the cockpits of a number of Japanese aircraft of the Second World War period and will complement a well-detailed interior in a large scale.
Separate the parts carefully from the thin supports of the 3D print, as they are very small. Glue them with cyanoacrylate or with a thin UV glue. Bring the bodies of the lamps to life with a metal or dark shade and a small touch of color on the glowing part; a final gloss coat will heighten the impression of glass. Tweezers and a magnifier will make the work easier.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
