Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from Trumpeter in 1:700 scale represents the German aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin. The model is supplied as an unassembled set of plastic parts and usually takes in photo-etched parts, aircraft for the deck, a decal sheet and a stand with a nameplate. For the exact contents of the package, go by the information on the box.
Graf Zeppelin was the only German aircraft carrier whose construction advanced far. Her keel was laid in 1936 and the ship was to displace over 33000 tons. Because of disputes between the navy and the air force, the outbreak of the Second World War and the diversion of resources to submarines, construction was halted several times and the ship was never completed or put into service. Aircraft derived from types such as the Bf 109 and the Ju 87 were planned for her deck.
The hull is usually split, so assemble it carefully and finish the decks and superstructures separately. Add the fine photo-etched parts, the railings and the radars at the end. Use liquid cement for plastic and a primer, and for a naval scheme, matte shades with light emphasis on the wooden deck.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
