Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the 75 mm wz. 1897 Schneider field gun in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer First to Fight. The model captures the variant on so-called DS wheels with steel discs, adapted for towing by motor vehicles. The parts are designed for easy assembly (snap-fit) and a small illustrated booklet with instructions is usually included in the package.
The wz. 1897 Schneider gun is derived from the famous French Canon de 75 modele 1897, which was the first quick-firing field weapon with a hydropneumatic recoil system. In the Polish army it was part of the basic artillery equipment and was used during the campaign of 1939. The version on DS wheels allowed faster movement behind motor vehicles instead of horse teams.
Separate the small parts from the sprues carefully and clean up the flash. Even though the parts are snap-fit, we recommend securing the joints with liquid cement for plastic. It is worth treating the base with a primer and applying the shades with an airbrush; a final weathering with a wash and a dry brush will bring out the castings and the riveting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
