A resin detail set in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Black Dog. It holds resin parts for a faithful rendition of the pair of engine nacelles of the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II ground-attack aircraft. The set is an aftermarket accessory; the airplane model itself is not included in the package.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II, nicknamed Warthog, is an American ground-attack aircraft intended for the direct support of ground units and for action against armored vehicles. Two turbofan engines mounted high on the sides of the rear fuselage are characteristic, and this set makes them more accurate, including the intakes and the exhaust nozzles.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue the resin with super glue and protect your airways while sanding. Apply a filler primer and tune the metallic shades and the burn marks on the nozzles with washes, pigments and drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
