1:72 Aggressor Camouflage Paint Masks For ATAC F-21/IAI Kfir C2 is a two-sheet set of stencils for the camouflage pattern of the Kfir operated as a simulated adversary, in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The pair of sheets of thin self-adhesive tape carries the camouflage pattern worn by Kfirs in the colors of an American provider of training services. Unlike the set in the larger scale, here the focus is on the camouflage alone - the small markings are left to decals or to a separate set of stencils.
The Kfir C.2 machines served out their time in the Israeli Air Force and after withdrawal found a second life with a private operator, which uses them to provide pilot training against a dissimilar adversary. The machines kept their original airframe with canards and the J79 engine, but they were given a civil registration and a coloring they would never have worn in regular military service.
In 1:72 the camouflage fields are so small that the transitions easily merge. Hold the airbrush closer to the surface and lower the pressure, as otherwise the sharp edges will turn into a gray mush. Before applying, make sure the base shade is fully cured; on small areas the layers follow one another quickly and the finish has no time to cure.
Paints and the airframe of the aircraft are not part of the delivery.
