The McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II Plus is an attack aircraft with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL), used above all by the Marine Corps. The Plus version is fitted with a radar and expanded avionics, which makes it a multirole machine able to be committed against ground as well as air targets. Its hallmarks are vectoring nozzles and the ability to operate from short strips and from decks.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. It is best to dry-fit the parts before setting them into the fuselage. An airbrush and fine dry brushes suit the cockpit for bringing out the relief of the instruments.
