A resin detail set from Quickboost with oxygen cylinders for a model of the American Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress four-engine bomber in 1:72 scale. The small castings liven up the interior of the fuselage and have finer detail than the plastic parts. It is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model in itself.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. On long raids at high altitude the crew used an oxygen system whose cylinders were distributed inside the fuselage. With an open interior they are a clearly visible detail.
Separate the small parts carefully from the casting blocks, bond them with super glue and pick them out from the surrounding fuselage in a different color. A light wash will bring out the shape of the cylinders.
The kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
