1:72 B-24H Liberator Canopy Mask is an extensive masking set for the American four-engine bomber with an exceptionally large area of glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive set of stencils for the Consolidated B-24H four-engine bomber. It includes shapes matching the glazing of the pilots' cockpit and of the other glazed places on the airframe, of which this type has an unusual number.
The B-24 was among the most numerously built American bombers of the Second World War. Its recognition marks were a high-set slender wing of small chord and a twin vertical tail. The H version brought a powered nose turret, which replaced the earlier glazed nose and removed a weak point against head-on attacks by fighters. The machines served over Europe and in the Pacific, where their great range and load capacity were put to use.
The set makes sense for anyone taking on a large four-engine machine who does not want to spend an evening cutting out dozens of small rectangles. A less experienced modeler will manage it too, only they have to set aside enough time and work patiently. It pays off especially on the top turret, whose frame boundary is visible from every angle.
