Responsibility details are not available.
A set of exactly cast resin landing gear doors for the British twin-engine Bristol Blenheim bomber in the Mk.I and Mk.IV versions, 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part with thin walls and accurate inner pressings that will replace the thicker plastic doors from the base kit. It is not a standalone airplane model but an accessory.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British twin-engine light bomber which at the time of its introduction was among the fast machines of its category. The Mk.I version had a short nose, while the later Mk.IV received a lengthened glazed nose for the navigator. In the Second World War the Blenheim was used on a number of fronts, at first as a day bomber and later in other roles. Thin landing gear doors are among the details that refine the view into the wheel bays on a finished model.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Separate the thin doors with a delicate touch. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer before painting.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
