This set from the Hungarian company SBS Model is an aftermarket detail accessory, not an aircraft kit. It holds precisely cast resin propellers with hubs and spinners that will replace the stock plastic parts on models of the British twin-engined bomber the Bristol Blenheim in 1:72 scale. The aim is a sharper profile of the blades and a more faithful shape, which markedly raises the impression a finished model makes once it has been painted.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British light to medium bomber of the Second World War period, powered by Bristol Mercury radial engines. It was deployed on a number of fronts and in the service of further countries, and it became one of the typical British aircraft of the early war. Faithfully done propellers are a visually prominent element on this type.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and fit the surfaces. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection when sanding. We recommend painting the propellers separately and fitting them only at the end of the build.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin castings. Paints, glue and the kit itself are not included in the package.
