This injection-molded plastic kit from IBG Models covers the British Crusader Mk.II cruiser tank in 1:72 scale. The model offers finely engraved surfaces, detailed running gear and a turret with its armament. Its small scale makes it a rewarding addition to a collection and a basis for a diorama alike.
The Crusader was a British fast cruiser tank that saw considerable service above all in the fighting in North Africa. It was marked by a low silhouette, Christie suspension with large road wheels and high speed. The Mk.II version brought changes to the armor and the layout. The vehicle was typical of British armored formations of the early 1940s.
Finish the running gear and the tracks first, then the hull and the turret. Use a thin cement for plastic and dry-fit the small parts. We recommend a primer, the main coat by airbrush and, for service in Africa, pronounced sand and dust effects with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
