DH.98 Mosquito two-stage Merlin 1:72 is a Brengun resin set with engine nacelles for late Mosquito versions.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory set holds cast resin engine nacelles with the cowlings of Rolls-Royce Merlin engines with a two-stage supercharger in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a conversion accessory with which you replace the original cowlings on a Mosquito model and so obtain the correct nacelle shape of the late versions. The set is made by the Czech brand Brengun.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine fighter-bomber of wooden construction. The versions with two-stage Merlin engines had markedly longer engine nacelles because of their larger cooling and intake arrangements, and this set captures that faithfully.
Cut the original plastic engine cowlings off and level the surfaces. Wash the resin nacelles free of mold release, remove the casting blocks with a saw and sand with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and take care over the correct seating of the nacelle shape.
This is a conversion accessory, not a complete model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
