Resin replacement exhausts for the Brewster F2A-1 Buffalo in 1:72 scale from Aires/Quickboost. Precisely cast exhaust pipes of the early version.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set holds precisely cast exhausts for models of the Brewster F2A-1 Buffalo fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the exhaust pipes of a kit and brings finer shapes and suggested hollow outlets. The set matches the arrangement of the F2A-1 version, which differed from the later F2A-2.
The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an American single-engine carrier-based fighter from the beginning of the Second World War, with a short, stocky fuselage and a radial engine. The F2A-1 version was the first production variant; its exhaust pipes were laid out differently from the later F2A-2, on which the outlets were relocated and further venting of the cowling was added.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The exhausts come alive once they are painted in dark metal and rust shades. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
