Responsibility details are not available.
A resin kit with photo-etched parts covering the German experimental F-55 Feuerlilie antiaircraft missile together with its launching ramp in 1:72 scale from Hauler. The combination of resin and photo-etched parts allows fine detail; it is a kit for experienced modelers.
Feuerlilie was the cover designation of a German guided antiaircraft missile developed from 1940. It was tested in two versions, the smaller F-25 and the larger F-55 of about 55 cm in diameter. Development was dogged by trouble with guidance and propulsion and the program was halted toward the end of the war. The missile thus remained at the stage of trials, which makes it all the more interesting as a subject of early rocket technology.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent residue first and cut the casting blocks off. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), as the photo-etched parts are designed with a minimum of bending. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting, which will unify the resin and the photo-etched parts and reveal any flaws in the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit with photo-etched parts. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
