An aftermarket detail accessory from the Hungarian company SBS Model. The set contains a resin three-blade propeller with its hub and a pair of main wheels for models of the American Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat carrier fighter in 1:72 scale. A truer propeller and wheels with a realistic tire profile lift the level of the finished model once they are painted.
The Grumman F4F Wildcat was an American carrier fighter of the Second World War and the main carrier type in the first years of the war in the Pacific. The F4F-4 version had folding wings and six machine guns. A rugged fuselage and a radial engine are characteristic of this type.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and fit them. The wheels and the propeller are bonded with super glue. It is a good idea to mask and paint the wheels separately (tire against hub) and to fit them at the end of the build. Sand with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin castings. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
