CMK 1:72 Fairey Barracuda exhausts is a resin detail set of replacement exhausts for the kits of this British carrier aircraft from Special Hobby.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer CMK. It contains replacement exhaust stacks for the kits of the British carrier-borne torpedo and dive bomber Fairey Barracuda from Special Hobby. Fine castings with hollow outlets take the place of the simplified plastic parts. It is an accessory that sharpens the model up, not an airplane kit.
The Fairey Barracuda was a British carrier-borne aircraft of the Fleet Air Arm from the period of the Second World War, used as a torpedo and dive bomber among other things against the battleship Tirpitz and in the fighting in the Pacific. The exhausts standing out of the engine cowlings are among the conspicuous details on a model, and fine castings sharpen them up considerably.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue with super glue. Build the base up on a dark rust color, add shades of oxidized metal and soot at the outlets and tie it together with pigments. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base Special Hobby kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
