This sheet set of waterslide decals is meant for models of the British Fairey Gannet carrier aircraft in the AS Mk.4 (anti-submarine), COD Mk.4 (carrier onboard delivery) and T Mk.5 (training) versions. The decals make it possible to finish a model to one particular form, including national insignia and carrier markings. The model itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
The Fairey Gannet was a British carrier aircraft with an unusual powerplant, a double turboprop unit driving a set of contra-rotating propellers. It originally came about for anti-submarine work, and later further roles grew out of it, including the delivery of supplies to a carrier deck and training. It was characterized by its deep fuselage and folding wings for operation from a confined deck.
Cut the decals close to the marking and transfer them from lukewarm water onto a smooth gloss varnish so that no silvering occurs. Settling is helped by softening and setting solution. Seal the finished markings with a protective varnish to the gloss you want.
This is a set of decals, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
