Paint and weather the cockpit before you set about the belts. Work with sharp tweezers over a light-colored surface, because small parts are easily lost. Run the belts loosely, with a slight sag, not taut; a taut belt looks artificial in a photograph of a model straight away. Dose the glue in minute drops on the tip of a toothpick and let them dry in the position you have given the belts. Only then close up the fuselage or fit the cockpit canopy.
The package contains only the belts. The model, paints and glue are not part of it.
