A plastic kit of the German signals vehicle Mercedes-Benz G3a in the Funkmastkraftwagen Kfz 68 version in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer MAC Distribution. The package contains plastic sprues, photo-etched parts, decals and instructions. The carrier of the antenna mast is an unmistakable variant that will enliven any signals scene.
The Kfz 68 was the version of the three-axle Mercedes-Benz G3a 6x4 vehicle carrying an extending antenna mast for long-range radio communication. It complemented the radio vehicles of the units and secured the reach of the communications. The vehicle is another of the purpose-built forms of the standardized German G3a chassis used by the Wehrmacht.
Take care over the fine parts of the mast and its anchoring; finish the chassis and the body before closing them. Glue the photo-etched elements with cyanoacrylate and clean the mating surfaces up. After the primer, spray with an airbrush, bring the gaps out with a wash and add dust to the running gear with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
