This sheet of waterslide decals is intended for models of the Gloster Meteor in its F.8 version. The decals let you finish a model in a specific form, including national insignia and unit markings. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
The Gloster Meteor was the first jet aircraft put into series service by the Allies and the only one to reach operational service during the Second World War. The F.8 version, with a lengthened fuselage, a modified tail and an ejection seat, was the main day fighter variant and formed the backbone of RAF fighter aviation in the first half of the 1950s. It served with other users around the world as well.
Cut the decals close to the design and transfer them from lukewarm water onto a smooth gloss varnish, so that no silvering occurs. A softening and setting solution will help them bed into the engraving and the transitions. Seal the finished markings with a protective varnish of the sheen you want.
