Eduard 1:72 P-51D Mustang wheels with a block tread is a set of 3D-printed resin wheels for sharpening the landing gear of a model.

This is NOT an aircraft model but an add-on wheel set for a model of the P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale. The wheels are made by accurate 3D printing in resin and carry a block tread pattern, one of the tire variants used on the Mustang. They replace the plastic parts from the box with a truer rendering of the hub and the tire.
The wheels are cut from the print supports, cleaned up and glued in with super glue. The crisp relief of the tread and the hub is easy to paint and is a rewarding place for dust and wear on the landing gear.
The P-51D Mustang was an American fighter of the Second World War, valued for its long range and its performance at high altitude. It used several types of tire with different tread patterns.
This is an accessory, not the model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
