Firma49 Karabiner 98k 1:72 is a resin, 3D-printed set of small replicas of the German bolt-action rifle for dioramas and figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin (3D-printed) set of miniature weapons in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. It is not a kit but a fine accessory for arming figures and bringing a scene to life. Even at a small scale the printing keeps the characteristic silhouette of the rifle.
The Karabiner 98k was a German bolt-action rifle, the standard service weapon of the Wehrmacht in the Second World War. It grew out of the Mauser system, fired the 7.92x57 mm Mauser round and became famous for its reliability and accuracy; it was made in enormous numbers.
Resin can be sanded and cut, but at this scale the parts are very small, so handle them carefully, best of all with tweezers. Before taking them off the supports, dip them in hot water; the material softens and does not chip. Clean them in lukewarm water with detergent, glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and apply a primer. Protect your airways while sanding.
The set contains resin accessories, not paints, glue or figures, unless stated otherwise.
