The L-410 Turbolet is a light twin-engined turboprop transport aircraft developed at the Let Kunovice works from the 1960s. The L-410UVP version gained a lengthened fuselage and enlarged tail surfaces for better behavior at low speeds. The aircraft became famous for its toughness, low demands and the ability to operate from short and unpaved runways, which predestined it for regional transport and for use in remote areas. It ranks among the most successful aircraft of its category and serves all over the world.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic, then fill and sand the joints. Wash the mold release residue off the resin accessories first, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding resin. Mask the cabin glazing, apply a primer before painting and lay the paints on with an airbrush in thin coats. The propeller blades and polished areas call for careful masking.
