This product is a vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear canopy in 1:72 scale for a model of the Soviet LaGG-3 fighter (the type 35 series) from the Rob Taurus brand. It is not an aircraft model or a kit, but a stand-alone clear part replacing the standard canopy.
The LaGG-3 was a Soviet fighter from the beginning of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure. Later production series differed in aerodynamic and equipment changes; the designation type 35 refers to a particular production series of the aircraft.
A vacuum-formed canopy has thinner walls and greater clarity than an injection-molded part. It is cut out with a sharp knife along the engraved outline, the edges are sanded down to an exact fit, and for maximum transparency the part can be dipped in gloss varnish. It is bonded with PVA canopy glue or with a minimum of super glue.
This is a stand-alone accessory (a clear canopy), not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
