An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21MF fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov. This boxing offers decals for machines of the Czechoslovak and Czech Air Forces (CzAF). The MiG-21MF is the fighter and fighter-bomber version - do not confuse it with the MiG-21R reconnaissance version. It is a classic injection-molded kit; check the exact number of parts and marking options against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The MiG-21 is one of the most widespread supersonic fighters in history, with its characteristic delta wing and a circular air intake with a shock cone. The MiG-21MF version belongs to the third generation, with a more powerful engine and a built-in cannon. In the Czechoslovak Air Force the MiG-21s formed the backbone of fighter defense for many years and in some versions remained in service with the armed forces of the Czech Republic.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Paint the cockpit and the instrument panel before closing up the fuselage, and mask the clear canopy. Pay attention to the pylons and the stores under the wings and fuselage. Apply a primer and the colors with an airbrush; Czechoslovak and Czech schemes stand out after a gloss coat before the decals, and the panel lines can be brought out with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
