This resin set brings a shape-corrected ventral fin for a kit of the MiG-21 fighter in the MF, bis and SMT versions in 1:72 scale. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified plastic part with a more accurate casting.
The MiG-21 was a supersonic fighter with a delta wing which, in its many versions, spread to a range of countries. The MF, bis and SMT versions were among the later and widely built configurations. The ventral fin under the rear of the fuselage is a prominently visible feature whose correct shape affects the fidelity of a model's silhouette.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways while sanding. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before gluing, check how the part follows on from the underside of the fuselage and clean up the mating face.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
