The MiG-23MLD chaff and flare dispenser (empty) 1:72 is a resin detail set of the dispenser magazine in its fired, empty form.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the firm Aires for models of the Soviet MiG-23MLD fighter with its variable-geometry wing, in 1:72 scale. This variant captures the magazine of the chaff and flare dispenser in its fired, empty state, that is, with the chambers open and empty. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for raising the realism of the fuselage.
Chaff and flare dispensers let an aircraft lead guided missiles away. The empty casting suits a model after a live sortie or in a training configuration and adds fine technical detail to the fuselage that plastic usually only suggests.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and protect your airways when sanding resin. A small part comes out after a coat of primer and fine shading of the recesses.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
