Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the prewar French fighter Morane-Saulnier MS.405 in 1:72 scale from the Czech company RS Models. It is a short-run injection-molded model supplemented with cast resin parts and decals for several marking options. Check the exact contents against the enclosed instructions.
The MS.405 was the prototype and pre-production machine from which the widespread production fighter Morane-Saulnier MS.406 grew. It was a low-wing monoplane of mixed construction with partly wooden and partly metal skin, with retractable landing gear and a Hispano-Suiza 12Y series engine. The machines served the French Air Force at the end of the 1930s and represented the step toward more modern fighters.
First wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Clean the flash off the short-run plastic parts and try them dry. Use a thin cement on the plastic and glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush suits the spraying, and lay the decals over a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
