MASTER 1:72 P-38M Lightning .50 cal Brownings and cannon tips with flash hiders is a set of turned metal barrels for the American night fighter. It is not a model but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains turned metal barrels for the Browning .50 caliber machine guns and the tips of the 20 mm cannons with flash hiders for a model of the P-38M Lightning night fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but replacement detail parts for the nose armament. It is made by the Polish company MASTER, a specialist in turned metal barrels, pitots and probes for aircraft models.
The Lockheed P-38M Lightning was the night fighter version of the famous twin-boom fighter, fitted with radar and a second seat for its operator. Flash hiders on the muzzles reduced the glare that dazzled the pilot when firing at night. Metal barrels give the concentrated nose armament a sharp and realistic detail.
Cut off the original plastic barrels, drill a hole in what remains and glue the metal parts in with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the metal before painting. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
