A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from the manufacturer Aires in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone set of exhaust stacks with which you replace the plastic parts on a finished model of the P-51B/C Mustang fighter. The fine resin rendering brings out the shape of the individual exhaust stubs.
The North American P-51B/C Mustang was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War. These early versions with the hinged framed canopy were powered by a liquid-cooled V12 engine whose exhaust stacks projected along the sides of the front of the fuselage.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The exhausts come alive once they are painted in burnt metal shades with the patina lightly brought out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
